Last Exile: Ginyoku no Fam

Synopsis

Last Exile: Fam, the Silver Wing is a new original tale in the Last Exile universe. It features new characters, new mechanics and an all new story centered around the young ace vanship pilot, Fam, and her trusted navigator, Giselle, as they pilot their vanship, Vespa, through the free and peaceful skies.


Main Character

Giselle Collette (ジゼル・コレット)

Giselle Collette is Fam's best friend and navigator in the vanship's back seat. Compared to the reckless Fam, she is introverted. Giselle collects and stores various battleship- and military-related data and covers for Fam in those aspects. As the eldest daughter of the Sky Pirates chief, Atamora, Giselle can easily handle housework such as cooking and cleaning while taking care of her brothers and sisters.

Fam Fan Fan (ファム・ファン・ファン)

Fam is a 15-year-old member of the Sky Pirates. Flying in a small vanship, Fam looks for aerial dogfights and battleships with her comrades and resells the ships to make a living. Fam has the potential to become a skilled vanship pilot but still lacks experience. From the bottom of her heart, she loves "peace in the free skies". Her signature aerial maneuver is the Split S.

Milia il Velch Cutrettola Turan (ミリア・イル・ヴェルク・クトレットラ・トゥラン)

Milia is the younger princess of Turan. She loves and respects her older sister Princess Liliana completely and constantly strives to be a support system for her.

Alauda (アラウダ)

Alauda is a top intelligence agent of the Ades Federation and reports directly to Luscinia. He supports Luscinia's military rule from the shadows through covert operations, assassinations, and other means.

Alister Agrew (アリスティア・アグリュー)

Alistia Agrew is Tatiana Wisla's trusted confidant, best friend, and expert navigator. She is assigned to the Sylvana, under the leadership of Alex Rowe. She is about seventeen years old.

Dio Eraclea (ディーオ・エラクレア)

Dio Eraclea is the 16-year-old younger brother of the most powerful Guild member, Maestro Delphine Eraclea. People see him as a rare find that will someday take over the Guild. He is very playful and fearless, and treats many things like they were games. His odd nature can be seen in his awe of Claus Valca's skills and giving him the nickname "Immelmann" (referring to the World War I German ace, Max Immelmann and the maneuver Claus frequently used while flying, the Immelmann turn). This strange nature is mostly due to the Guild lifestyle and fear of his sister Delphine. His first appearance in the series is marked by a chess-match with his beloved friend Lucciola and with the Guild's power and surveillance, watches the skies of a skirmish between Guild ships searching for Alvis Hamilton and the Silvana. He finds extraordinary talent in Claus's vanship piloting, and after the Horizon Cave Eight vanship race, he starts to have strong interactions with the main characters. He later joins them on the Silvana in order to escape his sister, but is forced back to the Guild before long, and is brainwashed by a Guild device in preparation for the "Rite of the Covenant". Driven to insanity, he participates in the Rite of the Covenant, where the next Maestro is chosen, and emerges victorious. He escapes with Claus and Alvis soon after and is nursed back to health in the Mad-Thane residence. He flees from there in a vanship and travels to the Grand Stream. Being delirious, his memory resets to the moment of the race in Horizon Cave, and he attempts to pass Claus. At that moment he tells his navi, Lucciola (who isn't there), to jump out so they can get more speed. He crosses a flock of rainbirds believing them to be the finish line and congratulates Lucciola on their victory and invites him to celebrate, but he then turns around to find he is not there. Believing Lucciola had actually jumped from the vanship, he attempts to cross to his seat while crying, but his vanship is then hit by a gust of wind and he is swallowed by the Grand Stream. Despite this, his voice is heard during a later scene in the Silvana's engine room cheering "Ascending!"



There is a scene depicted in the series' official artwork showing Claus, Lavie, and their friends living on the farm turning and smiling at an individual stepping into the frame with them. Though all that can be seen is one foot and a waving hand, the individual appears to be wearing Dio's Guild uniform.

Tatiana Wisła (タチアナ・ヴィスラ)

Tatiana Wisla is the only child of "the proud and noble" Wisla house of Anatoray. At the age of seventeen, Tatiana left home to become a member of the newly-formed Anatoray Military Vanship Corps, a new military division dedicated to using vanships as weapons as opposed to just couriers and transports. She excelled in both piloting and dogfighting, quickly becoming one of the best vanship pilots in the sky, possibly second only to Alex Row. She sent all the extra money she made as an ace pilot back to her family so that her mother could care for her ailing father. Before too long, she found herself on the Silvana as Row's handpicked wing commander for his small vanship fighter fleet. She pilots a twin-engine vanship fighter which she painted red to distinguish herself from the other pilots as well as all other vanships in the sky.

Tatiana is second best to no one in her own mind, but her overconfident self-view is challenged when she meets Claus, whose piloting skills rival her own. From then on, her feelings toward Claus go on a roller coaster, making her feel anger, disgust, awe, respect, fear, and even attraction to the young vanship pilot. Her frosty aloofness is clearly a self-defensive façade; she suffers a mental breakdown of sorts after getting shot down over the desert, but recovers, and from that time she begins to show a greater depth of feeling, especially towards Claus, whom she develops a crush on.

Da Capo

Synopsis

Every year the flowers bloom. Mysterious Cherry Blossoms blooming all over a crescent shaped island. That island is the island of Hatsune...

The main character who goes to Kazami Academy, Asakura Junnichi, has the power to see the dreams of other people in his sleep. He was also taught magic by an old lady that allows him to create sweets.

One day, Junnichi seems to have seen someone`s dream again while he was sleeping. Inside that dream, a girl who was a childhood friend of his appeared. But, he was woken up by his sister Asakura Nemu, forcing him to come back to his regular life. Nemu doesn`t actually have any blood relation to Junnichi but their bond is deeper than other real brothers and sisters. So deep that it gives the illusion that they`re lovers.

It was another peaceful normal day waking up early in the morn
ing and going to Kazami Academy. Together with childhood friend Amakase Miharu, the academy idol Shirakawa Kotori, the two sisters Mizukoshi Moe and Mako who prefer eating nabe on the school roof for lunch. Going through their day as usual, their childhood friend, Yoshino Sakura, who they thought had moved to America suddenly appears. It was a surprise for Junnichi and Nemu. Sakura tells them, "I came to finish the promise we made during our childhood"...


Main Character

Nemu Asakura (朝倉音夢)

Nemu is Jun'ichi's adopted sister. She is actually in love with Jun'ichi and becomes mad when any other girl shows affection to him and uses 'accidental' violence to stop the affection between him and another person. She wears a bell as an accessory, given to her by Jun'ichi when they were young. When her mood turns sour, she becomes excessively polite and antisocial, a condition that Jun'ichi calls "hidden Nemu". Her cooking is described as lethal, to the point that Jun'ichi quietly calls her the "Murderous Chef". Her birthday is in December 28th.

Junichi Asakura (朝倉純一)

Junichi is the protagonist of Da Capo, whose role the player assumes. While loathing trouble and bother, he seldom turns his back on someone in need. Junichi has the ability to utilize magic, he can create wagashi with magic at the dispense of calorie, as taught to him by him and Sakura's grandmother. Like other characters, Junichi is affected by the unwilting sakura tree, from which he gained his power to observe the dreams of other characters.

In D.C. II Season Two he still lives in the same house and later on passes away attempting the stop the Never Withering Sakura Tree.

Sakura Yoshino (芳乃さくら)

Jun'ichi's cousin and first love. She is a very lively girl who shows great affection towards Junichi, much to Nemu's dismay. She is sometimes seen with Utamaru, a white cat. Actually older than Junichi. She inherited her grandmother's magical ability, and despite the passing of several years, her appearance remains largely unchanged from what Jun'ichi and Nemu remember. Has an IQ of 180.

As of D.C. II:
She is currently the principal of the Kazami Academy and maintains her youthful appearance, despite the story of D.C. II occurring 53 years after the events of the Original Da Capo.

Her appearance remains unchanged after a lot of Time Skips because the Sakura tree causes her to age extremely slowly. In D.C. II, she merges with the Sakura tree in an attempt to control it, but she fails. In the D.C. II anime finale, she disappears along with the withered sakura tree to bring Yoshiyuki back. In the D.C. II Visual Novel epilogue, we discover that she doesn't disappear from the earth; instead she is seen wandering across the earth for the rest of her days, and she has lost her memories.

Ladies versus Butlers!

Synopsis Hino Akiharu lost his parents when he was small and was adopted into his uncle's family. But he noticed his uncle is after the inheritance of his parents, so he decides to enter a boarding school, Hakureiryou high school. However his delinquent boy-like appearance frightens the girls, who make up the majority of the students. Being unable to get along with the classmates, Akiharu meets his childhood girlfriend Saikyou Tomomi.

Akiharu Hino (日野 秋晴, )

Hino Akiharu lost his parents when he was small and was adopted into his uncle's family. Selnia Iori Flameheart (セルニア＝伊織＝フレイムハート)

A stubborn girl with pigtails that look like drills. She’s from a very rich family and won’t take crap from anyone. Has a tsundere personality.

Tomomi Saikyou (彩京 朋美)

Hino's childhood girlfriend who he encounters at the school. She has a sweet and kind exterior, but is actually very scary.

Hanaukyou Maid-tai

Synopsis

After losing his mother, 12-year-old Taro journeys to Tokyo to live with his grandfather. But he gets the biggest surprise when he discovers that his grandfather's home is a huge mansion with hundreds of beautiful maids ready to serve him. Making matters worse (at least for Taro, but not for our viewing) is that not only does he inherit the Hanaukyo mansion, he gets the services of all of the maids 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 


Main Character

Mariel (マリエル)

At the tender young age of 16, she is informally seen as the 'head' maid of the house. She is essentially the 'perfect' maid - attentive, polite, demure, intelligent, and beautiful. Her devotion is alluded to border on obsessiveness and becomes a major plot point later. (In the original anime series, she had purple hair rather than blue). She is eventually revealed to have been the product of Project: Blue Silent Bell, a genetic engineering project aimed at creating the ideal maid for Tarou. Her true feelings and emotions are buried underneath layers of emotional programming, and at the end of the series Tarou commits himself to bringing them out. (At any rate, her devotion to and affection for Tarou appear to be sincere, despite the programming.) As a point of interest, In one episode, Mariel is shown cosplaying as Chii from Chobits who was also voiced by Rie Tanaka.

Taro Hanaukyo (花右京太郎)

A short, quiet, patient and persuasive middle school boy who inherits his mysterious grandfather's home at the age of 14. A common source of humor is his dealing with the overeager work ethic of the maids. He is put off by fawning women. (In the original anime series, this was exaggerated into a near-allergic reaction to any contact with a woman except one.) He thinks of his maids as friends and family rather than servants, and treats them as such, much to the consternation of some. He is rather blatantly attracted to Mariel.

During the first series, he usually sports the "sly fox eyes" look, but during La Verite he tends to keep his eyes open more often. He's rather aloof, but tends to act very maturely when the situation calls for it.

Lamune

Synopsis

Lamune tells the story of a boy named Kenji and his childhood friend Nanami. Although, everyone seems to know that they have a relationship, neither are determined to push it anymore than close friends. The story goes through flashbacks, explaining why they are such close friends and any action doesn't seem to push them apart, but draw them closer.


Main Character

Nanami Konoe

Nanami is the female leading character of the story. She has long light purple hair. She is Kenji’s childhood friend, next door neighbor and classmate at school. She owns and tends her vegetable field on the outskirts of town. Since they are neighbors, they take turns waking each other up every morning.

Kenji Tomosaka

Kenji is the male leading character of the story. He is a highschooler in his second year. He is always hanging around with his childhood friend Nanami, spending their time going to school together and working at their vegetable field on the outskirts of town. He owns a vintage motorcycle model Triumph, passed down to him by his father. He has wanted that motorcycle ever since he was a child, and his father finally decided to give it to him, although it is always breaking parts.

Misora Ayukawa

Misora is a biker girl who happens to visit the town while touring in the countryside. She has pink hair with an ahoge and two short twin tails. She rides her favorite motorcycle model, Honda CB400 SUPER BOL D'OR.

Hikari Nakazato

Hikari is Kenji and Suzuka's older cousin. She is short-statured and has a long, golden-brown hair done in twin tails. She is somewhat short-tempered and has a tomboyish personality. Hikari maybe annoying but she really cares for her cousins and Nanami, and is willing to help them when they're in trouble. She is often pestered by Hatano, Kenji's friend and classmate, who is crazy about her every time she visits to her cousins during summer. She loves to eat spicy foods.

Tae Isawa

Tae is the Student Council President and Kenji’s senpai in school. She has a short dark purple hair and often seen wearing her jersey uniform. She is a very mature, good-tempered and responsible person. She has three younger siblings to take care of.

Gakuen Alice

Synopsis Sakura Mikan and Imai Hotaru are best friends, and Mikan is shocked to find that Hotaru is transferring to a school in Tokyo for gifted students like her - Alice Academy. Mikan hears rumors that the students are like prisoners there, and worried what would happen to Hotaru, she runs away to head to the school herself. She finds out all the wonderful things about this school. And she heads into a great adventure!!

Natsume is a extremely intelligent, to the point of being considered a genius, and despite this, ditches class frequently. Hated and feared by a lot of students at the academy because of his dangerous Alice and cold attitude. Due to the isolation he feels from most of his classmates and hatred many student feel about him he is often bullied even though he comes to ignore it, although the class he is a part of holds him in very high regard and often follows his orders.

He is thoroughly unhappy with the school and is always suspicious of the intentions of adults because he believes that they use their power over the younger students to hurt and abuse. He is involved in top-secret missions for the Academy which are shady and haven't quite been explained in the story yet, although he often returns injured.

He is paired up as Mikan's partner in class by the their mostly-absent class teacher, Narumi. Although at first he rebels strongly against this duty, he later accepts it and begins to enjoy Mikan's company, along with the company of his classmates and finds himself getting friendlier as the series progresses, although he never quite loses his dangerous edge and temper.

He possesses the fire Alice. It is revealed early on that since Natsume has such a powerful Alice, it causes a lot of stress on his body to use and shortens his lifespan immensely. He had been showing the symptoms of a life shortening Alice for a year before the start of the series and had been progressing quickly due to the constant use of his abilities for missions for the Academy. Because of this, he can be seen quite a few times through the manga coughing blood or even going unconcious.

The story for Natsume entering the Academy was the rumor that he was a murderer and once set fire to a village. However, it turns out that his younger sister Aoi lost control of her Alice and accidently set the buildings ablaze, losing her Alice, memories and her sight in the process. Aoi is used as a hostage to get Natsume to cooperate when he gets testy, and even after Aoi is released, he constinues to perform his missions to keep Mikan and Ruka safe.

He has a close group of friends, which at first is only Ruka, the only person at the Academy who understands his reasons for being there and originally agreed to come to the Academy because of Natsume. Later, though, he grows deeply fond of Mikan and finds himself trying to protect her from the dark side of the Academy. He gets extremely jealous whenever if Narumi, Tsubasa or any other male character gets too close with her, something that is often used against him by the older boys for teasing. He's often seen kicking the older guys shins, holding Mikan back from hugging others or burning the tips of Mikan's hair to get her attention again.

He is the only Special Star in the Elementary Division, thus entitling him to a lot of luxourios things that he never really gets to take advantage of.



In chapter 50, he kisses Mikan during the Christmas party, to which their relationship develops. In the most recent chapters, he searches relentlessly to find Mikan since she was taken away by the Academy for her Alice and when he finally finds her, he manages to get her to confess as a 'reward' for tracking her down. He does confess in return.

Hotaru Imai (今井 蛍)

Hotaru is an extremely intelligent and rational girl. She is considered to be a geek and more than a little strange because of her aloofness. Like Natsume, she is usually poker-faced, but possesses some humor in her. She may treat Mikan unkindly most of the time, but it is apparent that she deeply cares for her. Somehow, she likes to bully people she likes.

Hotaru is Mikan's best friend and the main reason why Mikan came to the academy. She and Mikan have what may seem to be a doubtful and strange relationship. Hotaru comes off as cold, quiet, geeky, and bad-mouthed but calm. Her "stupid" points are her tendency of being a "pig" when it comes to food and her greedy side, this happens in a comical manner. Her Alice is Invention, which allows her to create unique and strange inventions.

She belongs to the Technical Class. She is currently a Triple Star.

Her name "蛍 - Hotaru" means "Firefly".

Ruka Nogi

Ruka is Natsume's childhood friend and often referred by Mikan throughout the story as "Ruka-pyon". He has a gentle and pleasant personality that balances out that of Natsume's. Even though he tries to hide his feelings for Mikan Sakura, the grown-ups already know about it and even teased Ruka many times by the Watching Over Ruka Group.He always carries around a rabbit and has a way with animals, they seem to attract to him. He is also the main target of Hotaru, who loves clicking funny pictures of him and selling them.

He belongs to the Somatic class. He is a Triple Star student like Hotaru.

Mikan Sakura (佐倉 蜜柑)

Mikan is the protagonist of the story. She is a cute, energetic, good-natured girl, but her clumsiness lands her into trouble. She is a very up-an-at-it and athletic person, much to annoyance of her down-to-earth friend, Hotaru. She used to live with her grandfather in the country.

She was shocked to hear that Hotaru was moving back to the city to go to an academy for young 'geniuses' like her. When she heard rumors that students were like slaves in Alice Academy (which she felt was a possibility, since they gave money to parents for sending their children to the school), Mikan left her grandfather and her home to go after Hotaru by herself. She was then accepted to Alice Academy by Narumi-sensei and could attend Alice Academy with Hotaru and many other children with extraordinary powers.

Her Alice is Nullification, which can resist the effect of Pheromone type Alices and completely negate the powers of other Alices in close proximity to her. She also possesses the Stealing Alice, which she inherited from her mother. Both of her Alices are very rare and special.

She once belonged to the Special Ability Class. Later, she gets transferred to the Dangerous Ability Class, and becomes the Elementary Principal's precious favorite. She is currently a Single Star, but it's most likely changed to Special Star due to the fact she is highly favored by the principal.

Throughout the story, she has a lot of effect on Natsume and Ruka, who have both started to fall in love with her. As the story progresses she becomes liked and admired by a lot of the people that used to feel uneasy about her Alice. Even her relationship with Hotaru grows stronger. Her name means "Mandarin Orange" in Japanese.
