Chrome Shelled Regios

Synopsis In a post-apocalyptic world overrun with mutated beasts called Limbeekoon or Filth Monsters, humanity is forced to live in large mobile cities called Regios and learn to use special weapons called Dite, by harnessing the power of Kei to defend themselves. In the Academy City of Zuellni, Layfon Alseif is hoping to start a new life and forget his past. However, his past has caught the attention of Karian Loss, the manipulative Student Council President and Nina Antalk, a Military Arts student and Captain of the 17th Military Arts Platoon, who instantly recognizes his abilities and decides he’s the perfect candidate to join her group. However, with a secret past that won’t leave him alone and unknown powers beyond normal, Layfon just might not take it.

Main Character

Layfon Wolfstein Alseif (レイフォン・アルセイフ)

Previously a Heavens-Blade wielder, a title given only to the twelve most capable fighters of the Lance Shelled City of Glendan, Layfon transferred to the Academy City of Zuellni in hopes of leaving his violent past behind.

Nina Antalk (ニーナ・アントーク)

A third year Zuellni Military Arts student, Nina is the strong willed captain of the 17th platoon. In order to keep the 17th platoon from being dissolved, she recruited Layfon after he was forced into the Military Arts section by Karian.

She is formerly from a rich household from a different city. However, she escaped that city, because she felt like there were other things out in the world that she had to protect. So, she ran away. She supports herself by working along with Layfon.

She is a powerful fighter who considers weakness a sin. When she was younger, she was almost killed because of saving a young infant fairy. Thankful because of her, the head fairy sacrificed herself in order to save Nina. Therefore, she seeks power to protect the weak.

Sharnid Elipton (シャーニッド・エリプトン)

A fourth year Zuellni Military Arts student, Sharnid is the Sharpshooter for the 17th platoon. He has a reputation for being a ladies man & has many female fans. ~

Felli Loss (ロス フェリ)

A second year Military Arts student in the Academy City of Zuellni & the Psychokinesist for the 17th platoon. Felli is the younger sister of the Student Council President, Calian Loss. Because of her high level telepathic abilities, Calian forced her to join the Military Arts section against her will, as such she resents her brother and is rather reluctant to fight, not putting much effort into battles.

She takes a liking to Layfon because, like her, the strength of his powers aren't normal, and he was forced into the Military Arts against his will as well. Despite her calm demeanor she is prone to physically abusing her brother or Layfon with kicks to the shins, should they anger or embarrass her. She calls Layfon by the nickname "Fonfon", and demands of him to in return call her Felli (without honorifics).

Her powers consist of manipulating the petal-like segments of her Dite which she can use for searching, communication, and offense if necessary. Like most psychokinesists the massive amounts of information constantly entering her mind is too much for her to handle, resulting in her inability to make facial expressions except on rare occasions.

Leerin Marfes (リーリン・マーフェス)

A close friend of Layfon from the Lance Shelled City of Grendan. He left her behind when he transferred to Zuellni even though she cared for him deeply.

By coincidence she meets Synola Leisler and feels a deep connection between them. Not knowing that Synola is actually Queen Alcheilla, the two become friends.

She often writes letters to Layfon telling him about her life since he left Grendan.

Harley Sutton

A third year Zuellni Military Arts student, Harley is the Dite-mechanic for the 17th platoon and close childhood friend of Nina Antalk.
