Kamisama Dolls

Synopsis Kyouhei, after moving away to Tokyo from his old town to get away from the events that happened, is on a goukon with his friends, including his old neighbor, Shiba. After drinking for a whole night, he and Shiba discover a dead, bloody body in the elevator. He is told by his younger sister, Utao with her Kamisama Doll, that Aki, an old friend, and his Doll are the culprits responsible.

Main Character

Kyouhei Kuga (枸雅匡平)

A college student who grew up in a village and later abandoned his hometown when he moved to Tokyo and immersed himself in college life.

Utao Kuga (枸雅詩緒)

Utao is the younger sister of Kyōhei and the current partner of Kukuri. She comes to Tokyo to meet her brother out of fear that Aki would come for him. Her fears are confirmed and after destroying Kyōhei's apartment while confronting Aki, she moves to Hibino's house with her brother, working at the Shiba family's café while training herself to improve her control over Kukuri's movements.

Aki Kuga (枸雅阿幾)

A fugitive from Kyouhei's hometown. His kakashi is Kuramitsuha. His rival and old best friend is Kyohei.

Hibino Shiba (史場日々乃)

Hibino is an attractive young woman who attends the same university as Kyohei, who has a longtime crush on her, but is unaware of her own feelings for him. She was asked in date by many of their male collegemates, but declined all of them.


Despite her father came from the same village as Kyohei's family, she never knew about its secrets until he invited Kyohei (whose apartment was destroyed) and Utao to live with them. According to Aki, Kyohei's affection for her is because Hibino resembles their former teacher.

Kirio (桐生)

A Seki who bears an uncanny resemblance to Utao. He enjoys teasing her and causing her stress, possibly out of contempt for her.

It is later revealed that he is Utao's brother. He was taken by the Hyuga clan at birth, and raised in secret.
